SAP installation in AIX-Should the Master CD be in the CD Drive?

I need to install sAP in a AIX Machine,

I have copied all the directories to a folder in the Unix Server.

When i do this and start the sapinst i am getting some errors.

I wanted to know whether i can copy the master cd to the Server machine and start the installation

or it should be in the CD Drive to start with the installation.

Hi Balaji,

YES! Dude you can dump all the sowftware on your operating system.

You do not need to have it in the CD Drive. Not at all required!

What is the Error that you are facing?
