hi!

When I login the R/3 with language "en" , I want to preview the standard text of Chinese in smartforms developed by me, but the result with "#####" is not my expect.

So how can I print out the Chinese text normally?

thanks in advance!

check whether the printer is unicode enabled or not. it should be unicode enable to display double digit characters(chinese)

close the thread once your question is answered.

Hello, Mr. Zhu,

now i have the similar problem.

My customer works with German SAP (DE). It means, they have no ZH Version.

Besides German Item name, they want to also print chinese item name on the PO.

In Item master (MM42) i can tipp chinese characters and in PO (ME21N) i can also see the chinese texts.

But in the smart form they are displayed in hash code "####".

The Printer is chinese enabled.

Could you help me?

Thanks

Hi Rene,

Which device type do you use to print? Try to print via windows using Unicode device type SWINCF(see SAP note #812821). With this device type the language of the form and the font is not important.
