Previous Request Deletion

Hi BW Experts,

I am working on BI7.0.

I am loading data from R/3 to InfoCube, I want to delete the

previous request of full load which has been loaded from R/3

before loading another full load. Since this load is in a process chain,

I have selected 'Delete Overlapping Request from infocube' process and

selected required setting to delete previous request, but it is not deleting

previous request.

Kindly advise.

Useful suggestions will be appreciated with points.

Hi Ram,

One possible reason could be different selections in the InfoPackage for the previous and the new requests.

Do you have any date as a selection in the InfoPackage?

Also check the following url and make sure that you have the intended settings.

Thanks for your reply, I have not selected any date selections in Infopackage,

data is transfering from PSA to Data Target through DTP.

I wish to ask you...

Is this problem happening consistantly for other cases as well or are you having this issue with only one such case?

If this issue is with just one case, could you please provide more details on what possibly makes this model different than the others?

I think u r not added "delete overlaping request" process in process chain.
