No photos in Who's Who but empty placeholder still shows on Change Own Data

Hi,

We have deactivated Photos in Who's Who (i.e. unchecked "Display employee photo" & "Allow own photo to be manitained") but when users go to Change Own Data, there is still an empty placeholder for the Photo (red cross & "Your Photo"). How do we get rid of this?

We are using ECC 6.0, SAP_HR 600 SP16.

Hi,

try to delete the photo using this procedure.

1. Go to Tools->Dusiness Documents->Miscellaneous -> Stored Documents (Trxn OAAD).

2. Choose 'find' and enter 'PREL' as the business object and click 'Execute'.

3. In the pop-up window 'Key field entry' enter the personnel number and click on 'OK'.

4. In the next screen one selects the entry that should be deleted and clicks on the trash can icon.

5. A pop-up window with the question 'Delete all selected documents?'appears - click on 'Yes'.

6. A pop-up window with the question 'Delete link?' appears - click on 'Yes'.

7. A window with the picture file will appear - one can close that.

8. A pop-up window with the question 'Delete archived document?' appears - click on 'Yes'.

9. This deletes the link and the file.

Thank you for your reply. I tried to follow your procedure, but after step 3 I just got a message saying "No link entries available".

Activate the link first and try to do this procedure.It may be because u deactivated it.
