SPNego and Citrix IE client

Hi,

I have configured Kerberos authentication on portal and everything works fine. When users login to the citrix client and launch a browser and then the portal URL they are thrown a login prompt. How to achieve SSO using Kerberos authentication in this scenario ? do we need to configure anything on the citrix server as well ?

Hi,

Basically, there is nothing which says that Kerberos authentication is not possible with a citrix solution.

Most likely there is a more restrictive IE policy in place on Citrix in which Integrated windows authentication is disabled. It could also be that the login to the citrix is performed in another windows domain and therefore it fails.

Yes you are right,

We had figured this out. It was due to the portal not available as a trusted sites in the IE setting. Once the citrix IE policy was changed with this it works.
