Hi mahesh,
Jus do the following settings.It will resolve ur problem
1)open the Visual Administrator,
log on to your server,
navigate to Server -> Services -> Configuration Adapter -> webdynpro -> sap.com -> tcwddispwda,
switch to edit mode.
2)double-click the PropertySheetdefault file to select it.
3)change the IGSUrl property so it reflects the URL of the IGS server installed.
4) Usually it will be http://<server name>:<server port>/ The server name and the port can be checked in the path \usr\sap\NTH\JC00\igs\conf\igs.xml in the attributes of tag.
5)restart the SAP J2EE engine.
Hope it helps.
Rdgs,
Guru

I didn't understand what you meant by the local installation. IGS comes along with the normal installation of the server. All you need is to just configure the same.

"Configuring the Web Dynpro Runtime Environment"--to configure the igs on my local J2EE server.
but i am not sure wht to fill in the igsurl field and all my trials have failed to render the graph.
could you please throw more light on configuring the same.
