Dear experts:
I am uploading an excel csv file to infocube.
when i preview it, i can see the data, i guess it is psa table.
when i want to upload it, i get one green message as if all records are good (monitor message) one error message, which is telling me that file access has problem. i can see the data in psa table (i guess) with first column marked.
i greatly appreciate your help.
thanks
steve
If the file is being loaded from a UNIX server, ensure it has r-w-x access.
(read write execute) If you are uploading from desktop though I dont think it should be a problem. Which way are you using ?

Well, in case you have the file located somewhere within you folder structure of your local machine, it might be because of the limited length of folders supported in SAP.
Try and copy the file to root or C:\ and then try uploading again...
Had this problem as well, got error message that I could not access the file or taht it might be open, even though it wasn't...
Cheers,
Klaus

InfoIdocs missing; file system
Diagnosis
Info IDocs are missing. With file systems as source system, the IDocs are created in BI. As this did not happen there was probably a short dump in BI.
System Response
No selection information arrived from the source s
Procedure
Check the short dumps in BI.
Check the data in the InfoCube.
Error handling:
If the data was correctly updated to the InfoCube, it is possible that no info IDocs were created.
Manually set the data request status to "OK" (green traffic light).
