Transport requests.

Hi,

sometimes in SPRO there are customizing process that have to be

replicated manually in the other clients (QAS, PRD).

How can I know what processes have to be replicated in each client and cannot

be transported?

Hi,

Try this -

In SPRO, in Display IMG screen, select the menu path:

Additional Information>Technical Data>Transport Type.

This will activate a feature which shows the type of transport for each IMG activity, ie. Manual Transport or Automatic Transport.

Hi

See when ever you making changes in the configuration asper your requirement normally the request is automatically created for the transporatable object.

There are the certain activites which are stored in local objects are not transportable.

There are ceratin activties which are not transportable directly as there is different way to include them in the request for example Tax code -- when you create the tax code the the system does not include in the request it give you information that read the information regarding the transport .here we have to first iimport the in the request and then release the request and then export that the client where you want to do.

The very good example is the number range that cannot be transported you have to create in the every client .
