I am an ABAPer. please tell me what are the differnt things we are doing in SAP SD?

Hi Friend,

The SAP sales and distribution is part of the logistics module that support your customers, starting from quotations, sales order and all the way towards billing the customer. It is tightly integrated with the MM and PP functional modules.

It allows companies to input their customer sales price, check for open orders and forecast etc.

The most important basic functional features in the sd module are:

1. Pricing

2. Availability Check

3. Credit Management

4. Material Determination

5. Output Determination

6. Text Processing

7. Tax Determination

8. Account Determination

9. Route determination etc

Hi Friend,

Go to 'VOV8' and select document type OR. and you can see all controls there. However a sales order is controlled by three mandatory things those are document type, Item category and schedule lines.

For document type go to VOV8

For item category go to VOV7

and for schedule lines go to VOV6

....And here you can see all the important controls.
