how to get in date format 1st, 2nd, 3rd ,4th,... like i need to get th, st, nd,rd ...etc ????

Create "style" by transaction "smartforms".
In that under character formats create node, where you can select effect either "Superscript" or "Subscript" as per your requirement.
And then use this character format in your smartform
