Hi all,
We are using the ME21N for creating new Purchase Orders in ECC 6.0, but we always receive this message into the inbox:
Express document "Update was terminated" received from author
We have reviewed the ST22 for short dumps and we have found:
POSTING_ILLEGAL_STATEMENT
Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "SAPLGRAP" had to be terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
Transaktion......... "ME21N "
Programm............ "SAPLGRAP"
Dynpro.............. "RSM13000 3000"
Dynprozeile......... 2
Could anybody help us, please?.
Thanks in advance.
Pilar.
Sir,
I am giving follow suggetions to ur problem considering that it might not solved yet.
If already u solved ur problem pl inform me about my suggestions.
Pl first find out the table name which is not get updated after saving p.o.This u can find in details of long text of error 'update was terminated'
This error is because of that perticulat table not get updated on saving, it might be a info record or else.
For that table first u have to check no range & group, either correct it or change the group, so that on saving the p.o. perticulat record should be inserted in table.
Please make a new p.o.and check error msg in detail.
Thanks,
Manoj Sapkale

It is difficult to analyze shortdumps in this forum since it is unlikely that it is a generic problem. A couple of suggestions:
1) Show this to your ABAP person - preferably an experienced one...
2) Search in service.sap.com with the error message.
Usually, either of the 2 resolves the problem.
