Hello,

Please can someone who is experienced in CCMS configuration tell me what the

SID\hostname_SID_00\...\DatabaseClient\AbapSql\SQLError MTE is used for.

I know it is related to short dumps but I can't seem to get it to initiate an alert.

I am configuring automated monitoring through CCMS and would like this MTE to fire my custom auto-reaction method. Currently I am trying to test this but I can't get the MTE to actually generate an alert in the first place.

Please don't reply with generic postings of information about CCMS.

I just need to know how I can generate an alert in CCMS on this specific MTE.

For information we are running R/3 Enterprise 4.7 on Oracle.

Thanks in advance,

Darryl

I´ve a similar question. In my RZ20 monitor; the alert monitor hold the alert of AbapSql a very long time. I´ve seen, that the analyse method is default customized to run ST22 in target system; but in target system the abap dumps will be automatically reorganized dumps older then 14 days. Here I have a copy of a sample in state "current status". This current state is many more older then 14 days.

Where are this alert from?

AbapSql ABAP SQL-Fehler: in SNAP:[20070927012203icotyc02], rot 27.09.2007 , 01:22:07
