Personal data iViews not able to display

Hi All,

I have a problem with my EP. I have create an iViews and link it to employee bank information (PZ03) which I publish this thru SE80 under Internet service. On the R/3 side, if I login as the employee, by typing “/n” then press “enter” and I type PZ03. I am able to see the screen. The problem is when I wanted to display the personal data (PZ13); I could not publish it in SE80 under Internet service. It gives me an error message that the object does not exist. However I am able to view the screen if I log in as an employee in R/3 (same with what I did for PZ03).

On the EP side, I am not able to view that personal data (PZ13) iView. It gives me some error message which listed below. It is working fine in my development EP. Is there anything that I need to re-publish or any service that I need to activate?

The page just hang there with an hour glass while on the bottom left corner of the browser, it show “done” with some warning. When I double click on the warning it gives me error which I listed some below.

Hi Brain,

Can u check if you can test this services using the ITS url

URL: http://sapepprd.bimbdev.com.my/scripts/wgate/webgui/! . Just hit the transaction PZ13, PZ03 in the command box once you have the sap screen.

I presume you have a standalone ITS.

also i understand there are some issues with some internet services with standalone ITS.

Also check if you have the system and webgui services published. You can publish again to standalone ITS using program "W3PUBLISHSERVICES if you are on SAP 4,7 and earlier.

Hi,

If you are using standalone ITS, pls check if the IACOR has been set up. Also you can republish all the services , using SE37 , W3_PUBLISH_SERVICES, check all the services , choose the ITS server on which the services are to be publish and then execute.

I think your issue is related to setting up ITS properly.

Hi ,

The ITS IACOR services , there would be the exetwhich u have to set up to define the sap server from which you need to access the sap services to be publlished., its been some time since i had worked on ITS standalone, i will check the ITS installation guide and let u know.

Have you tried other transactions pz02, pz14 etc also... if they are also giving soem error ..

check if there is any service file in your ITS directory.. if there is none.. then copy of any existing service file.. and just replace transaction with new transaction and save as <transaction>.srvc . you can get these files in your ITS installation directory...

restart you ITS .. and then test again..

Thanks for your reply, i believe this would help me. I tried pz02 and it give me the same error. This is because i am not able to publish it in SE80. However pz14 works fine for me because i am able to publish it in SE80. I install my ITS in G:\SAPinst ITS 620, where can i get the service file and where should i copy the service file to. Any parameter should i change in the service file?
