Hi Gurus,

Can any one give some information and Real time example of I-Base and in which scenarios it is actually used

Any documentation on I-Base is highly appreciated.

Hi Narayana,

You can get lots of information on this help.sap.com.

IBase can be similar to Equipment in R/3. Which stores various information about the particular product. Take an simple example of an Monitor. now there will differnt models of it and each model will have diffrent serial numbers. You have different warranty or maintainace paln for each of them. All these information you updates in an Ibase.

For further more you log on help, and read various documents on Ibase and its usage.
