Initial Stock gain with HUM (Handling Unit Management)

Hi MM experts, please can you help in specifying the procedure

for taking on stock into an SAP client where Handling Unit

Management is active. In non-HUM I would use a 561 movement to

gain unrestricted stock into IM. With HUM do I need to create

the HU first Etc. Thanks in advance, Phil C

Philippe, thank you for the information. Now some further questions; if you do not mind. I take it that the input file is in the format of structure RHUWM? Do you create this as a text file in the same way you would for running an LSMW i.e. a header line in an XL followed by the data underneath then saved to a .txt file Etc? Also is each line to be a pair i.e. a header line followed by an item line? Regards, Phil

Yes, the format corresponds to the structure. About the execution, I never did it myself (I delegated to junior consultants) but it works well. Sorry if I can not help you more.

You have to run program RHUWM_INITIAL_LOAD.
