Hi,

when you start the setup from the DVD of the enterprise edition (do not use sql4sap.vbs) you have the possibility to do an upgrade of the existing instance. This then will replace the eval binaries with the enterprise binaries. Your databases and configuration will not be lost.

Hi Prakash

We have had a similar issue with our ECC systems when we were testing, and unfortunately the only clean way we managed to do it was to detatch our database, backup msdb to save customised jobs, uninstall SQL completely and reinstall and the restore and re attach.

There are other methods which include removing elements of the registry but I would not recomment these.

Hope this helps?
