SLD to ID

Hi,

After creating business system in SLD, what do we need to do to use that in ID?

Rams,

Right click on the Business System object in Integration Directory and select Assign Business system. The wizard will import obejects from SLD.

Refersh you cache using TC SXI_CACHE... and then try to reimport again.

if you cannot see the BS in the List in the ID.

2 resons for that.

1. SLd data not updated in ID yet: FOr this goto to the ID>envinorment>CLear SLD Cache.

2. The BS might already have been assigned to some scenarion....you can goto to the Objects tab slect the BS in that list select the BS you want and right click and assign it yout scenario

hi Rams,

In ID go to Environment tab -

> Click on Clear SLD Data Cache.

After this for your scenario

1. Right click on the scenario

2. Assign the business system

Hi,

Actually as per ur posts reply ,

u jus need to import it ,

jus do some checks,

check whether ur Business system is saved on ur technical system or not,

also see if softwre component, products are added to ur business system or not n also to respective technical system,

Hi Ram,

Once you create Business System in SLD, in order to used same in configuration scenario, you need import in ID.

You can import BS in ID by extending your Configuration scenario and then right click on Business system mentioned under and select "Assign Business System"..this will open a wizrd to import BS from SLD.

Once you import BS you can used them in your configuration.
