ESS implementation

Hi ,

Does anybody have an idea, about how long the ESS implementation would take?

Let us suppose we are going to use this configuration for 200 employees.

What are the steps to be followed.

Hi Sumanth,

The ESS configuration depends on the scope as to what you are implementing ( like leave, salary, etc). Rolling it out to 200 or 1000 employees would require the master data to be maitained for the employees which would not take much time if you have BDC's set up for the same.

Another issue to be taken into consideration is whether you have HR module implemented for the services you are planning to use in ESS.

Steps would be :

1) Identify the ESS scope ( Blueprint)

2) Have the HR config done if not already implemented.

3) Setup the config for ESS nodes under Personnel management

4) Set up user specific data for roll out.
