Hi folks,
I want to use external representation for simple type that I have defined in local dictionary but I found that it doesn't work in way that I thought it should work, so is there anyone who could explain that to me?
1. I want to make a filed for entering phone number (eg.: ##-###-####)
2. I defined simple type with Built-In Type : String
3. In Representation tab, Format field, I entered ##-###-####
So, now, I defined in context of my view variable (eg: Phone) that has type as type defined above and bundle one of fields to that variable (eg: Phone). Now, when I run app I expected to see something like this ( - - -) in my field, but it appeared blank?? next thing that I expected is when enter value and after reloading the page new formatted value should appear but nothing of that happend??? so please explain to me what I am doing wrong. Thanks in advance
