Hello all,
We installed cFolder 4.00 and did connect this system with ECC 6.0.
The configuration of the cFolder system was performed based on the 3.11 configuration guide. Everything worked fine, but ...
The configuration part with regards to the business partner integration is a bit 'spare'. Or I might have missed something.
Can anyone explain how ECC vendors are integrated/synchronized with the cFolder system?
E.g. I'd like to have ECC vendor 100020 as supplier in the cFolder system. And I would like to log on as supplier 100020 in the cFolder system.
Any hints would be very much appreciated and points awarded (if helpful answer).
Thanks,
Franz
hi Franz ,
cFolders supports the following business scenarios:
Collaborative scenario
Competitive scenario
The competitive scenario is a competitive business scenario.
For example, the scenario supports the following processes:
Publication of project specifications in the World Wide Web, in particular, documentation from the area of engineering and design.
Creation of bid invitations.
Evaluation of the bids received, for example, from suppliers.
If you want that your user ECC vendors are integrated/synchronized with the cfolder system. Then you go for competitive scenario.
If you want to map your supplier you have to create his USER ID in your system and add him for respective folder. And gives him Authorization as you want.
in cfolder no need to create BP fisrt . you can create the user from c folder front end setting if you have user adminitrastor rights
thanks

Hi,
To map your supplier first you need to crearte user for him.Follow the below procedure.
Go to User Administration -->Functions for Local User Administration --> Create
Add user name and mail id. then URL will be sent to Supplier
After creating User go to 'Competetive Scenarios' create new collaboration. Create new 'Work Area' to the supplier and give him authorizations.
then supplier will be able to access his work area.
Reward points if useful

Did have a problem with CUA. Switched it off and then it worked.
Will have to re-consider settings for CUA (if necessary)
