Are "Prefix Numbers" in SWF_XI_CUSTOMIZING unique and/or transportable

We are currently preparing the production installation of XI 3.0 SR 1 SPS12.

On page 32 of the SAP XI Installation Guide (Version 1.0 December 15 2005) we are asked to create prefix numbers using transaction SWF_XI_CUSTOMIZING.

- do these prefix numbers need to be unique per SID/environment (ie 901 for DEV, 902 for ACC, 903 for PRD etc) or can/should they be the same on all environments

- can these prefix numbers be transported (the creation does create a Workbench request): ie if only one number accross landscape, can I transport that number using 1 TR, or if 3 numbers needed, can I make transport with 3 prefixes in DEV and transport that accros.

Just in case somebody has the same question:

SAP Support answered as follows:

the prefix numbers should be unique and according different in every

system. They could not be transported.

Workflows to BPM processes will be automatically created in the

accourding R/3 system. They could not be transported too.
