Where can I assign excise tax indicator in customer master

hi,

we do not assign ne data or field in customer master but in j1id. maintain the tax classification, CST/TIN numbers.

hi,

excise duty and education cess are taxes levied by the govt. its a complex scenario with a lot of other possible scenarios. i request you to visit help.sap.com you will find very extensve docs. you can also search SDN as a lot of ppl have posted the scenarios.
