Dear all,
I add a button with command: BACK_TO_INITIAL_STATE to reset web template. But when I click the button I get the message: Cannot reset status of BEx Web application. Please advise. Thanks.

did you navigate in your template? If there is no roundtrip to the server, the application can not be reset.

when u used command- BACK TO INITIAL STATE
at that instance did u selected the Dataprovider and Analysisi item.
usually this command is available in CONTEXT MENU, when u rightclik at query execution u have all this options availabel
so if button doesnt work u can use context menu as workaround
