Please check your BEX install by running "sapbexc.xla" and hit the diagnose button.

I received the same error running frontend 6.40 but excel 2000, after installing excel 2003 and frontend patch 15 no errors anymore.

Hi,

I have observed the following now.

I have uninstalled GUI 710 and re-installed it and Bex version was BI Addon 7.X, SP0, Rev 461.

Now, I have installed GUI patch 1 and 2 consecutively and restarted the system.

What I have observed is that the tool bar is not activated in Bex Analyzer and Im not able to open the Workbook. Can you pls advise on the same.

Rgds

Hi,

go into the following path:

Program -> SAP -> Business Explorer -> BI

look for the BexInstaller.exe and execute it.

Look in the task-list, when the installe.exe is finished.

Afterwards the Analyzer should work (hopefully)

cheers

Sven
