hi

plant has created with new entry my ques is

while creating material master in accounting view valuation category is suppres, i have check in screen layout it is in optional , please solve the issue

Hi,

You just follow this simple steps

You must know your company code then your plant .Now follow below path

The Split Valuation settings are as follow:

1.SPRO> MM>VALN AND ACC ASSIGNMENT> SPLIT VALUATION> Acitvate Split Valuation

2.SPRO> MM>VALN AND ACC ASSIGNMENT> SPLIT VALUATION> Configure Split Valuation

Click on Golbal type: create your own valuation types as Type 1, Type 2 etc

Click on Global categories:create your own Valuation Category as Type(T) and

Activate all valuation types(Type1, Type2 ) for your category(T)

Goto MM02, change material enter the Valuation type as Type 1 and mainatin price for it and repeat the same for all the Types.

***Here which valuation category is active that belong to your plant.As well you can see corrosponding valuation types.

Hi

prior to everything check whether split valuation is activated or not in <b>OMW0</b>

after activation If you can't find the valuation category field, it might be hidden,

use <b>OMSR</b> Look for the field name MBEW-BWTTY (for Valuation category)

note down field selection group

Then in OMS9 put that field selection group.click on MBEW-BWTTY and maintain it as optional entry

UNTIL ND UNLESS U ACTIVATE AND CONFIGURE SPLIT VALUATION FROM SPRO U WILLNOT GET THE VALUATION CATEGORY FIELD IN MATERIAL MASTER EDITABLE.

Hi Shadrak,

Valuation catagory field is used for split valuation purpose.

You are getting this field suppress means you have not activated the split val. functionality. Go and activate thru customisation (If required by you)

then the sys will show this field.

Hi,

In the customising , u have to defn local definition,U need to activate the plant for split valuation,

there u link the plant with valuation type and valuation category.

Please follow the procedure

IMG...>MM...>valuation and account assignment....>spilt valuation

first activate split valuation

then in"configure split valuation" , u can have to define the valuation types in "global types".

In Global categories u define the valuation category

and in local definition u link the valuation type , valuation catory with the plant.

please go through this link, which provides u step by step procedure
