Rao,

As you mentioned <b><i am sending a IDOC ORDERS.ORDERS04 purchase order and recieving ORDERS.ORDERS04 as sales order ></b>

So according to this it is related with SD Module, So Process code to be used in this will be <b>ME10</b>.

<b><I need some clarifications regarding partner types></b>

In this case your parner types will be <b>LI</b>.

Sarvesh

Rao,

Just notice one more thing, i have just checked that the process code for ORDERS04 to be triggered from R/3 side should be <b>ME10</b>.

There would b a single partner profile with enrty at inbound side also.

Process code depends upon ur business requirement. If u forward the idoc simply to other system, then the process code used is ALFW.

Hi Rao,

In Partner Profile we need to define which message to be sent and how we will send it ( as we define the process code in inbound and outbound parameters for IDOC) which at beckend will call some Function Modules.

check this for more info...
