pdf output

Hi

I have one problem of getting output in the pdf.

The function module i am using is giving output in the pdf format text.

In webdynpro i have to convert that o/p in user readable format,opening Adobe reader.

please tell me in detail,as i am new to wd.

I am trying using webresource but it is opening blank pdf no text in that.

please do the needful.

Actually what happening in function module is

Function module converts ABAP report as it is into pdf text.And in webdynpro I want to output that ABAP report ,getting executrd at backend.

In output it should display in PDF.

Hi,

If you can send the generated PDF from the function module to the Web Dynpro model as an XSTRING you can set that to the source of your PDF UI object.

the type of that attribute (model attribute) storing pdf text data w3html.how can we convert that to normal text.

I have created one interactive form and assign pdfsource prop as the same attr said above.

but its not working.
