iDOC-to-iDOC -Scenario

Hi Experts

I am totally new to XI world,i want to do one idoc to idoc scenario please send me any step by step guide which can help me in doing this scenario.

I am on Netweaver 2004.

Hi,

If ur sending data from SAP to Sap there is no need of Xi inbetween it.

Can you tell that what are the systems invloved for this scenario, we can do Idoc2Idoc sceanrio using XI.U can do this without using XI too.

I have 2 systems one R/3 is on 6.2 and the other is 4.7 version.

What exactly do i have to do in the XI system for this scenario.

I have done the ALE configurations .

Ishika,

u have to maintain Partner Profile : Here u define which message to be sent and how we will send it ( as we define the process code in inbound and outbound parameters for IDOC) which at beckend will call some Function Modules.
