EP system not active for system monitoring in DSWP

Hi SAP Gurus

I have maintained EP system in SMSY, created a solution in DSWP, and assigned a logical component to the solution.

but still I could not see EP system active for system monitoring.

Do I need to do anything else for this.

Note: I could monitor the system through CCMS centralized alert monitor but not through dswp.

Hi,

Did you setup System Monitoring in DSWP. It will be under Operations Setup.

This would solve your problem.

System monitoring is for systems with an ABAP component. If your portal is installed on a java stack only, you cannot monitor via solution manager, use the SMD for monitoring
