Regarding Visual Composer KM hitscount Report

Hi,

I want to prepare a hitscount for the KM documents/ folders accessed on the netweaver portal. i want to prepare a hits count report. i came to know that portal activity report can be done using visual composer. Can report be prepared for KM documents also using visual composer?

1. if so, could anyone explain How can i do this?

2. Should i create a BAPI for generating the data from the system? or BAPI would be already present in the portal system?

Hi Divya,

VC is the right tool for building reporting apps, but it is only a tool for creating the UI of your report. The hitcount must be realized in KM and VC has access to the data via portal system connection. You can store your data in a BW System and build queries for the analyze in VC.
