hi,

hope to clear my doubts.

1) as already defined account type M and also + in OB52, why also need to close in MMPV?

2) MMPV close by month in any fiscal year? so it is closed monthly basis?

3) what tcode i can see the list of posting periods for MM? MMRV only?

4) no asset account type defined in OB52? which means asset only through OAAQ?

thanks

Hi,

Even though u define in FI the posting periods for material accounts, we need to define the posting periods in MM also.I feel that this is in view of control. At any time you can see two posting periods open in MM in t.code OMSY.Usually MM is closed on monthly basis.

Other T.codes associated are MMPI and MMPV.

Iam not sure the usage of OAAQ-Remove year end closing for company code.

Hope it helps
