Hi raj
.SCA is a type of file that can be imported in order to deploy it in SDM.. Contain your class files etc.
Java Support Packages are deployed with the SDM.
The SDM has already been installed in your system during the installation of SAP Web AS Java.
The archive format of a Java Support Package is the Software Component Archive (SCA). An SCA file can contain one or more Software Deployment Archives (SDA).
**For updating XI ADAPTER Framework, SCA's using SDM tool is deployed

hi raj,
Service component architecture (SCA) is a new technology to simplify application development and implementation in a service-oriented architecture (SOA). With SCA, customers will be able to more easily create new, and transform existing, IT assets into reusable services that may be rapidly adapted to changing business requirements.
