Problem while Publishing WEBDAV in IIS

Hi

I have created a virtual directory in IIS and mapped it to a folder in the same system. I have given sufficient read , write permissions and in virtual directory i have given browse permissions. But when i am trying to browser through the internet explorer, <b>it is showing HTTP 500 - internal server error.</b>

http://system/virtual directory......

Why is this happening and how can i solve this issue?

Hi Ganesh,

HTTP 500 error can be caused by number of reasons. To figure out what exactly is going wrong you can modify the web config file so that the actual error is displayed. It will be easy then to troubleshoot.
