Do we nee to open the PRD system to create Broadcast Setting ??

Hi

Do we need to open(Set to changeable) the Production System to create broadcast setting?

I am trying to create a broadcast setting which sends an email to business users. It was giving an error in step 4 - "System is not set to changeable - Objects are not changeable"

Hello,

No you don't need to open the system. The client settings in SCC4 can be "closed".

In addition to this THEN you adjust change authorisation per BW component (query, reporting agent setting and broadcasting by going to the transport connection, button "object changeability". These settings are only valid if the client settings are closed.
