Hello,
I installed SOLMAN40 on windows. Also, installed SAP GUI. Now i want to log into the SAP. What is the Default username and passowrd to login to SAP system. i mean SOLMAN in this case.
I tried sapuser which is not working. Once i login i have to generate the key

Can you tell to create client copy. i mean where to check profile parameter. I could not see any options when i do SCC4.

If you are using solman for temp... then it is ok to keep like this. I think Print meant saying to create client because usualy in any industry, you dont touch client 000. you always create a copy of 000. If you want to create a client, Go to Tcode Scc4. We do that so nothing goes wrong to 000.

Thank you. I could able to login. What do you mean by creating client.
I installed in a machine where i am planning to install PI.
Do i need to set anything prior PI installations.
I am struck up with key generation in PI using solman.
by the way, Where is postinstall guide.

You should be able to login with sap* or DDIC with the master password you gave while doing the installation. Then you have to create a new client and login there with SAP/PASS [ sap is only active if the profile parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar does not have the value 1.]
