Needs a suggestion from Gurus!!!!!!

Hello All,

We are planning to enhance EP7.0 SP level from 9.0 to 13.0 and ESS/MSS Business packages from sp5 to sp10. We already defined in NWDI Dev/QAS/Prod as Run Time Systems on ESS/MSS BP sp 5 and made some custom modifications. We are planning to apply new business packages on sandbox but this is not defined in as a Runtime systems in NWDI. My question is how can we apply new business packages on the sandbox thru NWDI which is not added as a Run Time System in the present NWDI and at the same time we need to keep BP sp 5.0 and SP 10 ESS/MSS tracks keeps active for sometime. Pls suggest the possible solutions.

Hello Santha Kumari,

If you have to deploy the business packages via NWDI to the sand box then it is imperative that you define it as a runtime systems.

One option would be to create another track and just define your sandbox as the runtime system. That way you can keep your sp5 track as long as you want. You can also define a track connection between these tracks if you need the changes to be brought over to the new track you create

Thanks Abdul. Problem is solved. We can create a newtrack and give the new dev runtime environement pointing to sandbox.
