Select a vaiable value for a plannig sequence in analyzer via dropdown-box

Hallo,

i tried to execute a planning sequence. In this sequence there is only one function with one filter. In the filter there is a characteristic which is selected with a variable.

now i want to select the value for this variable via a dropdown-box in analyzer.

The Button has the following static parameters:

CMD 1 EXECUTE_PLANNING_SEQUENCE

PLANNING_SEQUENCE_NAME 1 ZRMPPS01

VAR_NAME_1 1 0P_PCTR

the button has a command range $A$24:$C$24

in the Excel cell A24 i entered VAR_VALUE_1

B24 : 1

and in C24 there is a drop down box with the characteristic "Profit Center".

But if i select one Profit Center in the DropDown-Box an execute the sequence then i get a error message that the variable 0P_PCTR has now value.

If I enter a value in C24 instead of the dropdown-box then it works.

Is there an error in my configuration of the dropdown-box? There i selected only the Dimension "Profit Center" and choose the read mode: Dimension table (Key)

Hi,

Try this change the command range and make it A24:C25.

A24 = VAR_NAME_1

B24 = 1

C24 = Name of variable

A25 = VAR_VALUE_1

B25 = 1

C25 = This is where the profit center value should be

Hi,

sorry that don't work, too.

if I write a concrete value in the cell instead of the SAP dropdown-box it works.

So the problem must be the sap dropdown-box.

If I select a value in the dropdown-box which is in the cell C24 then the selecte value is in the dropdown-box but not in the cell C24. If I make a reference to this cell then there is always the value "0" in it.

But how can I can get the value from the dropdown-box to the variable in the planning sequence.????
