effect of modification in other language

hi experts,

I am coping zmedruck from medruck in all languages with original languge as DE.

If i do some changes in zmedruck with org. language as DE.

<b>my ques. is whether these changes will be reflected when i open zmedruck in EN.</b>

Hello,

Any object has an original language, this is the language you create text elements etc. in. ALL other languages for that object come in through translation only. The translated languages are delivered by SAP as well.

However if you copy an object to a Z-object and maintain texts etc. in your Z-object in the original language it will NOT be available in the other languages until you translate them.

e.g. You have a text element in DE (Beleg) and translated into EN (Document). If you change the original language to (etwas anderes) the EN text would still show as (Document) unless you translate the text element form DE into EN.

The same applies for a creation of a new element, if you create in in DE that will be the only text available until you translate it into e.g. EN.
