repair flag on QA and PROD

Hello,

I am little confused about repair flag.

What is purpose of this flag on QA and productive systems (on DEV it's clear) ?

And how to change this flag on QA and PRD for some objects ?

I am in process of applying SP and in test import I have got information that for some objects repair flag is set. I can't change status from transaction SE03 - system is not modifiable (what is correct for QA and PROD).

Any ideas ?

Hi Michael,

You need to make the system modifiable via SE03 -> Set System Change Option -> Edit -> Software components modifiable/Namespace modifiable.

thank you. That was what I have done.

But could you please tell me if it correct situation that you must do it on QA ?

When I released repair flag on DEV no transport was generated. Is there any way to transport change to QA and PROD ?

Hi Michael,

If their repaired objects on your system, you can find them in se03 _ Display repair objects, check the transport number of the repair... once you have check that the repaired object is ok, release the transport and that should solve your issue.

If you release the transport containing a repair and it didn't went into the transport queue then most likely is was a local request and you shouldn't have the same problem in QA
