Negative Values allowed in Deprn. Area

Hi

my client have country wise Chart of Depreciations. For AUD thru internal order settlement , we faced one error like Negative Aclues are not allowed.

For this I know the solution which is to put a tick in 'Negative Values Allowed' in the step 'Determine Depreciation areas in Asset class'. Note that the error is occuring for Book Depn Area. But when I reached there to put a tick , I noticed that the Tick box is greyed out.

How to make it active. I also noticed that this box is configable in other Chart of Deprns. Its inactive only for country Canada

Hi,

Check AO21 - Screen layout for Depr.Areas, see if it is set to display or changeable.

Its optional with tick in MnNo box. same config is for other CoDs. But for them its in change mode

I found the solution. In AO21 , you need to put tick in Class as well.
