Joe,
The default user id is <b>manager</b> and password is <b>manager</b> (small case)
Which version of SAP is installed?

Hello,
I suggest you to uninstall SAP B1 if your current installation is not working well and not in the production server. You try install SAP B1 server, client application, SDK and DTW from product CD.
The file installation and administration guide is available in the product CD --> documentation folder. You could also download from https://websmp108.sap-ag.de/smb/sbo/documentation if you are a partner and has S-Id.
Let me know your e-mail address if you do not have it.
Rgds,
another quastion,
is there is any limitition to install b1 client software ?!! i installed B1 client on 3 different desktop (windows 2003, XP and XP ). but when i tried to install it on windows 2000 and when ask about user id and password to access the database (server) the setup always stop and ask me for correct user id and password. Im sure that the user id and passwird are correct coz i already installed it on 3 different computers.
Any help pls
Hi
Please change the"Type=1" in the "Params.ini" file found at this location on your server
<YourServer>\B1_SHR\Clients\Client_Setup.
[Prefs]
Server=evon
Type=1
QueryAPP=Select ApplCab From scab where version = (select max(version) from scab)
QueryCOMUI=Select ComUICab From scab where version = (select max(version) from scab).
Then it will not ask you for the "userID" and "password" while trying to install the B1 Client.
Best Regards
Dayal
Hi Joe,
It certainly is completely different that Basis. You would really have to take the Tutorial on the eLearning area right here.
TO get started you need to have the license of the Users to login and use. You will have to create users and apply the license to each user.
You would go to SAP Main Menu > Administration > Setup > User to setup Users.
For the user to login to SAP from their PC's you have to install the Client Software. The Client software can be found on the SBO Server. Usually it is installed in C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One\B1_SHR\Clients\Client_Setup

To create the users for SBO you have to go under:<br><br>
"Administrator-Setup-General-Users"<br><br>
And there you can create the users, paying attentention to don't give them the right of "SuperUser" that should be only for you as Administrator.<br>
After create the user you have to give them the Autorization so for doing that you have to go in:<br><br>
"Administration-System Initialization-Authorization" & then choose "General Autorization"<br><br>
so for every user you can define what he can/cant do<br>
In any case, every users should have a license applied to him, so if you create a user "Pippo" then under<br><br>
"Administration-License" you choose "License Administration" <br><br>
and you give him the license, that of course you should already bought<br>
Cheers<br>

Sorry I dont get your question. What exactely do you want to do as Administrator?
