Hi There,
I am trying to install NW04s with Portal. It is on windows platform. Installation files are kept in different bix, and i have mapped(using option map network drive) and from there i am able to start my installation, after filling all parameters and checks installation starts. But it fails at ABAP Import step.. and i get error message:
required system resources are missing..
Import Directory '\<Server location>\51032246\EXP1 does not exists
Import Directory '\<Server location>\51032246\EXP2 does not exists
Import Directory '\<Server location>\51032246\EXP3 does not exists
While all these directories are present in the mapped drive and they are very much accessible with current user.
Can you suggest any thing i have missed out here.
Thanks and regards,
Sudhir

As Ajai has said; the drives will be mapped as the user running sapinst, but your database user (ora<sid> etc) will be trying to connect to them, for this user the drives will NOT be mapped. Suggest you use full UNC path names instead of drive mappings (//servername/share/dir/files).
Since your install is already running it may also be possible to create a logon script for the database user to map the drives when that user logs in.
Good luck!
