To configure an HTML View element (as on xApp Analytics 1.1 for FIN & HCM - Corporate Governance Effectiveness, 'Rating' iView), how should the default URL be changed to our own BI system.
This is the structure of the default:
http://<local host>:<port>///VC/servlet/InstalledFetcher?get=9070
By changing it to our local host and port, and deploying it it still displays this warning:
HTML views cannot be used inside nested iViews. Element will be ignored.
Can you please help me by explaining the correct structure for the URL Default?
Regards!
Perla
Hi Perla,
this error says that there is an error in the model maybe in the xApp. It is not allowed to use HTML views in nested iViews. You can do this, but they doesn't work.
Check your model and check if there are html views inside nested iViews.
Best Regards,
Marcel

Hi Marcel,
I have checked and the standard model, and it does contain the html views inside nested iView.
This is how the Model is being delivered on the Bussiness Packages:
VC_ACOMP_FINHCM 1.1 and BP_ACOMP_FINHCM 1.1
(BPACOMPFINHCM00_00-10003806.SCA, BPACOMPFINHCM00P_1-
10003806.SCA, VCACOMPFINHCM00_0-10003656.sca and VCACOMPFINHCM00_0- 10003656.sca)
So, I guess the design needs this HTML View, but a Default URL must be defined. I have not found documentation of how to structure this default URL. Except for this brief comment:
<a href="https://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.comhttp://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/visualcomposer?rid=/library/uuid/bf891813-0301-0010-a1a7-fb2ee352abaf">can I link an external dynamic image to a page created in Visual Composer?</a>
Do you know some where else I could find more info?
Many thanks and regards,
Perla
