By using SQL Server Management Studio in SQL Server 2005

When sheduling daily backup as per http://support.microsoft.com/kb/930615 ( i.e... In the “Script list”, I click “Script Action to Job” and “schedule” it then just OK, OK,OK)

After clicking on OK the backup starts immediatelly (regardless the shedule is made).

Maybe it will run also later(as sheduled) but I am think I did something wrong.

The same appaers when I click on query(I get the query and I execute it(it just starts immediately

Hi Tina,

please check while ur cliking "OK" 3 times.Problem might be there .

Cause while i refered the link u given in ur post it saying that

In the New Job Schedule dialog box, type the job name in the Name box, specify the job schedule, and then click OK.

Note If you want to configure alerts or notifications, you can click Alerts or Notifications under Select a page.

12. Click OK two times.

You receive the following message:

The backup of database 'DatabaseName' completed successfully.
