could not connect to R/3 system

Hi Experts,

i am trying to configure Team Viewer on MSS portal in ERP2004, EP 6.0 SP16. using workset ESS in MSS.

1. I assigned the user to a manager on R/3 side.

2. I gave full access SAP_ALL to the user on R/3 side.

3. Assigned the workset ESS in MSS in portal.

When I access the workset, it throws an error: <b>could not connect to R/3 system.</b> under Team Viewer iView.

Are there any authorizations missing for the user. I faced similar problem before, the authorization objects S_RFC, S_SERVICE solved the problem. Right now, I do not know where the problem is coming?

Did you check the RFC destination under the Service key

'MSS_HCM_ATTENDANCE_TEAMCALENDAR'?

Team calender is working fine. I am using Team Viewer which is part of BP for MSS-HTMLB.

In the logs on J2ee engine, I see an error "R3_CONNECT_FAILED".

System alias "SAP_R3_HumanResources" is defined, it is working now.

We too have an EP 6 system connected to an ERP 6.0 system and get the same error with the Team Viewer. Would you tell me please what you did to fix the problem. All the other ESS and MSS iviews work fine. The SAP_R3_HumanResources alias is assigned.
