Restrict values in Drop down list - WAD

Hello,

I would like to restrict the values in drop down list in WAD. Its not the maximum number of display values. When I run the query for 01/2007 - 06/2006 the drop down list shows all the vales in the infoprovider from 01/2000 - 06/2006 more than 100 values.

I would like to see only 01/2007 - 06/2006 in my drop down list.

Is this possible. Any inputs would be appreciated and awarded points.

Hi KK,

In the web item properties for this dropdown, set the read mode as posted values.

Hey Bhanu,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, that would have helped if I was in 3.5. I am on 2004s and we don't have that option. Do you see any setting in 2004s replacing that functionality.
