Deploy via SDM in Netweaver 7.0 in MSCS

Hi

I need to use SDM to deploy JSPM patch 10. I am in an NW 7.0 environment, PI 7.0. When I start SDM and choose the JSPM10P_1-10003470.SCA to deploy. After I confirm the file, the loading of the file never completes.

In the "sdmlog....".log file, the entry is

"Oct 25, 2007 3:44:58 PM Info: Loading archive 'C:\JSPM10P_1-10003470.SCA'"

Does anyone know how I can solve this?

Hello,

Sometimes SDM hangs are caused by the symptoms described in note 824357. Could you check the last modified SDM logs (/SDM/program/log/) for errors?

You could also try to deploy the file from the command line with the following commands, executed in the SDM/program folder:

StopServer.bat

sdm.bat jstartup “mode=standalone”

sdm.bat deploy “file= C:\JSPM10P_1-10003470.SCA” “updateversions=all”

sdm.bat jstartup “mode=integrated”

StartServer.bat

This is not error. It's loading. It takes time and will upload automatically.

Hi!

It has been "loading" now for about 17 hours... are you still sure that this is not an error of some kind? I have been doing this a few times before, and usually the selection does not take more than a few seconds.

Is there something special I need to do with regard to the SDM setup when the PI system is in a high availability (MSCS) environment?
