XI installation problem NW2004s SR1

Hello All,

I am trying to install PI using solution manger 4.0. Do P7.0 required more hardware.

Because i have only 12GB in Cdrive and 45GB in installtion drive. I struck up in between installtion at step20 (IMPORT ABAP) with below error

When I see import_monitor.java.log, It is howing below

<b>Required system resources are missing or not available</b>:

Import directory XIInstall\SOLMANEXPORT\EXP1' does not exist;

Import directory XIInstall\SOLMANEXPORT\EXP2' does not exist;

.......

.......

When i see harddisk space, C is having only 7 GB and D is having 9GB. So, is it not able to copy the required installation files.

What are RAM and Hard disks required for PI installtion NW2004s SR1

I struck up, please suggest.

50GB only required to the drive in which u r installing the XI. apart from that u need C:\ that will be of size 10GB

XI willtake approximatlry 25GB for installation but will create probelm......i think you need minimum this much to install but still not recomded.....try to incerease the space in both the installation drive and c drive.

Thanks for ur answer Nisar.

But i am installing PI with NW 2004s SR1. I beileve it is ECC6.0. is there any change to the harddisks and RAM requirements.

in the half of the installtion, it is having 7Gb in C drive and 9GB in D drive.

I believe it is problem of that.

I checked the existence of the require directories.

SOLMANEXPORT\EXP1 and SOLMANEXPORT\EXP2 etc...

The dump is already avialable to the system. But is not able to take them and install. I believe space is the problem. At same time, I want to confirm if anyone got installation problem because of space.

Looking forward for expert advices.
