how do we connect cdb and CRM data base are connected?

Madhavi,

The CRM online database and CDB are connected via the CRM middleware. The CDB is located in the same "schema area" as the CRM online database, however they are considered separate sets of tables (much like HR data is different from FI data).

Honestly you should either review the online help for CRM or buy the SAP CRM Middleware optimization guide by SAP Press. I just received my copy of the book this week and it is an excellence reference on the middleware, regardless of your comfort level.

CDB used only for mobile sales scenario it is connected with CRM data base through

Middleware Adaptors and Plug inns and Adaptors r on crm side plug inns are in otherside always
