Can somebody please inform me in terms of performance and memory consumption which adapter types are worst and which types are best. I have just heard that file adapters are the worst choice to use for performance but I don't know how bad, neither how much memory they consume.
Also, are the adapters multi-threaded? Would one file adapter for instance be able to deal with many messages in parallel, or is this strictly sequential processing?
BR,
Tony.
File adaptor is sequential. JDBC can have multiple threads spawned at run time. But the selection of the adapter would depend on your requirement rather than the memory consumption.
